So, yesterday I compared my eHow revenue share earnings versus what I would have made by just selling the articles to Demand Studios. Well, I decided to try the same kind of experiment with my Suite 101 articles.
I have made well over $7,000 by placing my articles at Suite. If I had sold them to DS I would have only made $4425. That's a HUGE difference. Plus, I will keep earning on my Suite articles and I still own the copyrights to the articles.
I've been having some doubts about sticking with Suite 101 lately, but experiment shows me that the site is really paying off for me.
I have had a difference experience between Suite and DS. I calculate that it takes about four years for one Suite article to make what I get on DS for one article.
ReplyDeleteWell, of course it will depend on what you write, your SEO, etc. I'm sure everyone gets different results. There are many people that have had better results and worse results with Suite 101.
ReplyDeleteIf I compare the money I've earned through Suite101's revenue share to the amount for selling those same articles directly to DS, even if I don't take into account the CE headaches over at DS, I would still have earned several thousand dollars less by selling outright!
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective - it doesn't work for everyone, but a good grasp of SEO and dedication to writing & research will take you places on Suite. :)
