A while back I wrote a post on the relatively new revenue share site List My 5. At first I was doing really well. I was doing so well with earnings, in fact, that I decided to make it one of my New Year's resolutions to put a lot of effort into this site so that I can see maximum earnings.
Well, that all changed when Google's Panda update crashed most residual earning site's mojo. Yep, List My 5 was definitely hit hard, at least, my lists were. Others are reporting a severe drop in earnings at the site, too.
I guess that site gets crossed off my list of things to do. I've already started moving my best lists to my own websites.

Are you not making any money from it now or is it just a steep drop?
ReplyDeleteWell, I made six cents from it this month. I figure if you can find more money under your couch then it's time to move on.
ReplyDeleteI have been plugging along at this site hoping that with more lists, eventually my earnings would increase. After reading your post, I feel like I may be wasting my time. I will keep you updated on how it goes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great information you provide by the way.
Thanks, Trina. I would like to know if there are some people that are able to make a breakthrough.
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing mixed messages about content sites. Some say to avoid them, they are a waste of time and effort. Others tell you to simply be patient. I hope I'm not spinning my wheels at Hub Pages. If anyone has any feedback, please let me know.
ReplyDeleteI used to write for them years ago. I had a horrible editor that wouldn't answer emails and when she did she was really rude.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I'm still earning residuals from there, so I guess that's good. :)
