Part-Time Job on the Side of Freelance Writing?

Over the winter, my husband's work slowed down, so I got a part-time job at a local restaurant where two of my best friends work. I figured if I wasn't my own boss in every aspect of my professional life, working with friends would be the next best thing.
I have to admit, getting out of the house and going to a brick-and-mortar job is totally different.

Here's what I like about it:

• Unlike with freelance writing, I am constantly moving 
• I meet new people face-to-face, not through email of Facebook
• I've made a lot of new friends

I don't like:

• Getting ready for work
• Inflexible hours 
• Someone else as my boss

Overall, I think this has been a good experience. Have you ever had to juggle freelance writing and a part-time job?
